Part of Hosting & Support

Software someone else started, finished properly

We take over half-finished, abandoned and ageing systems, review the code, stabilise what is there, finish what is missing and bring it up to date.

Flexible payment, agreed with each business.

Infrastructure we build and host on

  • Cloudflare
DNS, CDN, edge hosting and security

This site runs on it. Other providers are chosen to fit each system and named in the quote. Names and marks belong to their owners. We build with these tools; no partnership, endorsement or certification is implied.

Software Rescue & Modernisation

A supplier vanished. A freelancer delivered something that almost works. A system built years ago runs on a framework nobody supports. Starting again is slow and usually unnecessary; most software can be rescued by people who know how to read it.

We begin with a review of the code, hosting, dependencies and access, and tell you plainly what we found and what it will take. Then we work in stages: stabilise first, so the business stops hurting, then finish, then modernise. Everything is scoped in writing, and the code transfers to you.

Why have it built by Baal

  • Honest assessment first

A code and infrastructure review before any commitment, so you know whether to repair, finish or replace.

  • Stabilise, then improve

The fires are put out before the upgrades begin, so the business keeps running throughout.

  • Modern without a rewrite

Frameworks, languages and databases brought up to date in steps, keeping what works and replacing only what does not.

What we build

  • Code review and audit

A plain-language report on quality, security, risks and what it would take to finish or fix.

  • Takeover and stabilisation

Getting access, documenting the system, fixing the worst faults and putting monitoring in place.

  • Finishing unfinished projects

Completing features, closing the gaps and getting the product released.

  • Framework and language upgrades

Moving old codebases onto supported versions without breaking what works.

  • Migrations

Moving servers, databases, hosting providers and email with data intact and downtime planned.

  • Rebuilds where needed

When repair is not worth it, a replacement built to the same scope, quoted in writing.

How we work

  1. 01

    Talk

You tell us what you need, on WhatsApp, Telegram or the form, and you are talking to the team from the first message. We ask questions until we understand the problem properly — usually the same day.

  2. 02

    Quote

We put the scope, the fee and the timescale in writing before any work begins. No surprises later.

  3. 03

    Build

We build in stages and show you working software as it progresses, not only at the end.

  4. 04

    Support

After release we stay on for updates, fixes and changes as your business grows. Ask for a change and it is done in days, not queued for next quarter.

Frequently asked questions

Do you need the original developer's help?

No. It helps if they are available, but we regularly take over systems with nothing but the code and the hosting login. If access is missing, recovering it is the first job.

Will you tell us if it should be rebuilt?

Yes, and we will show our reasoning. Sometimes a rebuild is the better path; more often a repair is. The review answers that before you commit to either.

Can the business keep running during the work?

That is the point. We stabilise the live system first and make changes in stages, so users keep working while the improvements land.
